1. Seek:
- Tìm kiếm một thứ gì đó không phải là vật chất (vô hình/trừu tượng).
EX: Thousands of students are seeking work every year
- Nhờ/yêu cầu giúp đỡ, tư vấn, phê duyệt, cho phép.. một cái gì đó.
EX: You should be sought before applying for a course.
2. Search:
- Chú ý vào một nơi/vị trí nào đó để tìm ra thứ bạn muốn
EX: She searched all the house but couldn't find the key
The police searched the woods for the missing boy
- Còn mang nghĩa cố gắng tìm ra giải pháp/câu trả lời cho một vấn đề nào đó.
EX: Philosophers have searched for millennia, but they haven't found the meaning of life.
3. Look for
- Tìm một thứ gì đó đã bị mất.
EX: Have you seen my book, I've been looking for it all-day
