"Hello Earth" là ca khúc thứ mười một trong album "Hounds of Love" của Kate Bush, album này được chia làm 2 phần và được nữ ca sĩ biến thành 2 mini album nhỏ. Với 5 ca khúc đầu được gọi là "Hounds of Love", và 7 ca khúc còn lại được gọi là "The Ninth Wave", phần này theo chủ đề về một người phụ nữ chết đuối sau vụ đắm tàu.
Bài hát này vang lên khi chút sức lực của người phụ nữ dần cạn kiệt. Mặc dù cả đội cứu hộ ( "Get out of the waves, get out of the water") và tiềm thức của chính cô ( "Murderer, murderer of calm") vẫn đang cố gắng tiếp cận cô, nhưng cô chỉ nghe thấy họ như những giọng nói rất xa xăm.
