As I was waking up earlier I heard the words "Faith and Promises." I came into my living-room and sat down, praying for a little bit, then got quiet. I then was blessed with a vision.
I was suddenly standing in heaven and a man appeared to my left within three feet of me at the eleven o'clock position. He was dressed in a white robe and he was holding something in his arms. What he was holding were long paper scrolls that were rolled up, like what we have blueprints on. It took both of his arms to hold them. I knew in the spirit there were ten of them in his arms. As I stood the one of the paper scrolls moved from his arms and was given to me. I took it into my hand and started to unroll it. I did not see anything to lay it on but when I started to unroll it it just floated there, was held there, like a table was underneath it.
As I unrolled it I noticed there was only one thing on the paper scroll, it was a good size brass door knocker, heavy, eight to nine inches wide.
I stood there staring down at it for a few seconds, thinking, okay, it's a blueprint of a door knocker. Then suddenly I was standing in front of a door and the door knocker on the blueprint was on the big wooden door. I reached up grabbing a hold of the door knocker and started knocking. I said, as I knocked, a few things and watched as the door opened and I walked inside.
Psalms 92: 15 "Declare that the Lord is upright and faithful [to His promises] ."
Romans 15: 13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises."
2 Corinthians 5: 7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God's promises."
Matthew 7: 7-8 "Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened."
Matthew 7: 7-8 is stating that we are to be persistent with our knocking and steadfast our prayer.
You see when we stand strong, believe, have faith that God does and will keep His promises, we will in time be rewarded for it. When we do not fade, do not lose faith or hope, do not get a head of Him but wait on Him, having faith in His promises, they will happen.
I not only know it's my best friend Pats and my time to receive the abundant promises of God, to be blessed in many ways but I know there are others out there who He is doing the same with.
I know God has spoken things and I know He is not a God who lies. He says what He does and He does what He says. God is a God of I still do not I once did!
Thank you God! Thank you for opening the door! For many have stood fast and held onto your promises and now know You are pouring out those blessings.
