DIFFERENT MEANING OF "COLD" and "UNCARING" By: Windy Cold (UNFRIENDLY) : Not showing kindness, love, or emotion and not friendly. It is an Adjective by itself. It is used to describe the character of human. Eg: He stared into her cold blue eyes. Uncaring (DISAPPROVING) : Lacking proper sympathy, concern, interest, not worrying about other people's troubles or doing anything to help them. This vocabulary is used as an Adjective, but it is created from a main verb "Care" plus -i ng with prefix -un. Its meaning is more about an "action" or "behavior" of human. Eg: Mal went with Gabby without a word, seemingly uncaring about how she looked. Normally, character is something which is hard to be changed. However, most of "cold men" will try to be "warm" with a few important people as their parents, or lover. In another side, "uncaring" is an Adjective about negative behavior or action which is possibly created or changed by time, after some bad treatment from others, or be taught by parents and after a long time under a lacking love environment. "Warm women" might change to be uncaring if their cares become unnecessary with their lover. Some worse cases, those women always show love to the one they really care about, but they weren't been treated well. Rich kids are mostly uncaring with other people under long time staying alone with less love or cares from their parents. How about you? Are you a "cold" or an "uncaring" person? Whatever it's a original character or a behavior, I definitely believe that you have right to decide what kind of people you are. Ho Chi Minh City, June 19th, 2021. After an insomina
