Bằng khả năng nói tiếng Anh lưu loát với âm Mỹ chuẩn, ông đã gây sự ngạc nhiên cho một du khách khách. Sau đó, clip mà người này quay lại cảnh đối thoại với ông ta được đưa lên YouTube. Ngay lập tức, hình ảnh Mr Bill nổi tiếng khắp Internet và được coi là hiện tượng trên mạng hồi cuối năm 2007.
Và nghe trong đoạn clip thì Mr bill chỉ học tiếng anh bằng cách xem các chương trình và các bộ phim trên tivi.
