Nội dung:

Gặp Ally Campana (Lady Gaga) tại một quán bar xa lạ, Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper), một nam ca sĩ nổi tiếng nhưng mắc chứng nghiện rượu, sớm bị giọng hát đầy lôi cuốn của cô chinh phục. Trong cả buổi tối bên nhau, anh còn phát hiện ra đây là một cô gái cá tính, với khả năng sáng tác nhạc đầy hứa hẹn. Quyết mang ngôi sao trả lại bầu trời để có thể tỏa sáng rạng rỡ, Jack bèn đưa Ally đến buổi diễn của mình và khuyến khích cô gái thể hiện ca khúc do chính bản thân sáng tác.
