Với giai điệu pop punk kết hợp hiphop và rage đầy cá tính, "Freestyle" ca ngợi sự tự do và nhiệt huyết của tuổi trẻ. Hãy cứ làm mọi việc mình muốn theo cách của riêng mình, phá vỡ các quy tắc và chẳng cần phải đáp ứng những kỳ vọng của người ngoài. Bài hát như khuyến khích người nghe hãy thoát khỏi mọi ràng buộc trong cuộc sống, chấp nhận và sống đúng với con người thật của mình mà không cần phải do dự sợ hãi hay cảm thấy có lỗi.

"Freestyle" đánh dấu màn comeback của các cô nàng YOUNG POSSE, được ra mắt cùng với một MV chính thức vào ngày 14 tháng 8 năm 2025. Bài hát này cũng đóng vai trò là track nhạc chủ đề cho EP thứ tư của nhóm có tên "Growing Pains pt.1 : FREE".
