I talked to my sister about 10 months ago before I chose my major. My sister is 4 years older than me and has just graduated from school and worked for a while. I talked to her on a day in August, I was still confused between two options: A major with high job opportunities and a major of my interest. I talked to her about it and she immediately gave me advice. She asked me about my hobbies, I said that I fanatical about English, and then she gave me a list of English-related majors. She said that at first, let's choose what you like and then consider the following factors. Hobbies are the motivation for me to study and work, not get bored or give up halfway. She suggested that I study business English, she said that this major both meets my interests and has high job opportunities. After conversation last 2 hours, finally I listened to her. I don't know in the future, if I can find the job I want but so far, I feel very interested in this major. It's very important because it has helped me navigate my 4 years college plan.
