"Punisher" là ca khúc chủ đề thuộc album phòng thu thứ hai cùng tên của nữ ca sĩ Phoebe Bridgers, phát hành ngày 18/06/2020. Bản nhạc Indie Folk pha Ambient nhẹ nhàng này khắc họa cảm giác cô đơn cùng sự kết nối một chiều (parasocial), lấy cảm hứng từ sự ngưỡng mộ sâu sắc của cô dành cho cố nhạc sĩ Elliott Smith.
Bằng việc dõi theo những dấu vết và giai thoại về một người chưa từng gặp mặt, Phoebe tự nhận mình là "kẻ bắt chước" (copycat) và đối mặt với cảm giác tự ti. Thay vì tiếc nuối, nữ ca sĩ nhận ra việc hai người mãi là những kẻ xa lạ lại là điều tốt nhất - giúp cô tránh trở thành một kẻ hâm mộ gây phiền phức (punisher), đồng thời giữ trọn thứ tình cảm ấy làm chốn ẩn náu cho tâm hồn.
