Chào mọi người, mình là sinh viên khóa 23 tại Học viện Hàng không Việt Nam (VAA). Hiện mình đang theo học học phần Tiếng Anh 2 (TA2). Cuốn sách đồng hành cùng mình là Voices (Pre-intermediate A2 - B1) của nhà xuất bản National Geographic Learning.
Nhiều bạn nghĩ học TA2 chỉ để qua môn, nhưng sau một thời gian trải nghiệm, mình thấy cuốn sách này mang lại giá trị thực tế cực lớn, đặc biệt là với dân Hàng không chúng mình. Vì nó không phải cuốn sách ngữ pháp khô khan, nó được thiết kế để đưa bạn từ trình độ cơ bản A2 lên mức có thể giao tiếp độc lập của B1.
Giáo trình gồm 12 Unit, nhưng ở học phần TA2, chúng ta thường tập trung vào các chủ đề mang tính ứng dụng cao hơn (thường là từ Unit 7 - 12) :
+ Inspiration for change (Unit 7) : Học về môi trường, cách truyền cảm hứng. Ngữ pháp: Mệnh đề quan hệ (Relative clauses).
+ The world of work (Unit 8) : Cực kỳ quan trọng để chuẩn bị đi làm. Ngữ pháp: Present perfect & Past simple.
+ Health and happiness (Unit 9) : Sức khỏe và lối sống. Ngữ pháp: Câu điều kiện loại 2 (Second conditional).
+ Entertainment (Unit 10) : Giải trí, phim ảnh. Ngữ pháp: Mạo từ & Thì hoàn thành.
+ Challenges (Unit 11) : Đối mặt thử thách. Ngữ pháp: Câu tường thuật (Reported speech).
+ Technology (Unit 12) : Công nghệ tương lai. Ngữ pháp: Câu bị động (Passives).
2. Dạng tài liệu ôn thi
Đối với học phần Tiếng Anh 2 (TA2) tại Học viện Hàng không (VAA), sử dụng giáo trình Voices (A2-B1), tài liệu ôn thi thường được chia thành 5 dạng chính:
+ Tài liệu hệ thống: Đây là nguồn tài liệu quan trọng nhất vì nó sát với đề thi thực tế nhất. Các bài tập trên hệ thống MyELT. Đề thi cuối kỳ thường lấy 60-70% dạng bài hoặc từ vựng tương tự trên này. Nó có các bài kiểm tra định kỳ trên hệ thống. Dạng bài "ST.. - REVISION" trong ảnh của bạn chính là tài liệu ôn tập quý giá nhất cho kỳ thi cuối kỳ.
+ Tài liệu ngữ pháp và viết lại câu: Tóm tắt cấu trúc của 12 bài (Mệnh đề quan hệ, Câu điều kiện, Câu bị động, Thì hoàn thành). Nó sẽ tập hợp các câu chuyển đổi từ câu trực tiếp sang gián tiếp, từ chủ động sang bị động, hoặc sử dụng các cấu trúc so sánh.
+ Tài liệu từ vựng và đọc hiểu: Danh sách từ vựng kèm phiên âm và nghĩa (hường nằm ở cuối sách hoặc file PDF đi kèm giáo trình Voices) Các bài đọc trong sách Student's Book. Đề thi thường lấy các chủ đề tương tự (ví dụ: Công nghệ, giải trí, môi trường) để ra câu hỏi trắc nghiệm.
+ Tài liệu kỹ năng nghe và nói: File MP3 của giáo trình Voices để luyện nghe tại nhà. Danh sách các câu hỏi thường gặp theo chủ đề 12 bài học và các đoạn hội thoại mẫu (Useful Language).
