Ra mắt vào ngày 15 tháng 7 năm 2025, "ANIMALS" là sản phẩm âm nhạc mới nhất đến từ anh chàng ONEW. Đây là track nhạc chủ đề nằm trong album phòng thu solo thứ hai của nam nghệ sĩ có tên "PERCENT". Album có tổng cộng 11 track nhạc, bao gồm cả single tiếng Anh đầu tay "MAD" và single "mở đường" trước đó có tên "Confidence".

Thuộc thể loại pop R&B kết hợp cùng với yếu tố dance pop bắt tai, "ANIMALS" là bài hát phản ánh bản chất con người. Ca từ sử dụng phép ẩn dụ về việc biến thành "động vật", nhằm để ám chỉ việc thoát khỏi những ràng buộc của xã hội và đón nhận con người thật của mình. Bản chất bên trong mỗi chúng ta không phải là điều gì đáng xấu hổ, mà đó là nguồn gốc của sự tự do và niềm vui. Trong một thế giới đầy rẫy những luật lệ hà khắc bắt buộc chúng ta phải tuân theo, "ANIMALS" như một lời nhắc nhở rằng đôi khi điều tuyệt vời nhất chính là cho phép bản thân được trở nên hoang dã một chút!
