Là bản phát hành solo đầu tiên của thành viên JENNIE (nhóm nhạc nữ Hàn Quốc BLACKPINK) kể từ khi cô ký hợp đồng với hãng đĩa Columbia Records thông qua công ty của riêng mình Oddatelier, "Mantra" được ra mắt cùng với một MV chính thức đầy ấn tượng do Tanu Muino đạo diễn vào ngày 11 tháng 10 năm 2024. Bài hát được viết lời bởi Jelli Dorman và Claudia Valentina, sản xuất bởi JUMPA và El Guincho. Đây cũng là một track nhạc nằm trong album phòng thu solo đầu tay của JENNIE có tên "Ruby", dự kiến phát hành vào ngày 7 tháng 3 năm 2025.
