Là bài hát solo đầu tiên của thành viên Karina (aespa) trong khuôn khổ của chuyến lưu diễn "Synk: Parallel Line", "UP" được trình diễn trong setlist vào ngày 29 tháng 6 năm 2024 tại Seoul (Hàn Quốc). Kết hợp giữa hai thể loại dance pop và hiphop đầy ấn tượng, nội dung chính của bài hát khuyên nhủ người nghe hãy luôn là chính mình, bất chấp việc ta phải tuân thủ theo những áp lực hà khắc đến từ xã hội. Tự tin thể hiện bản thân, trở nên nổi bật giữa đám đông và chấp nhận cá tính thực sự của mình mà không cần sợ bị người đời phán xét hay chỉ trích.

"Synk: Parallel Line" là chuyến lưu diễn toàn cầu thứ hai đang được diễn ra của aespa, với mục đích quảng bá cho album phòng thu đầu tiên của nhóm "Armageddon". Chuyến lưu diễn được bắt đầu vào ngày 29 tháng 6 năm 2024 tại Seoul (Hàn Quốc) và sẽ kết thúc chặng đầu tiên vào ngày 29 tháng 9 năm 2024 tại Bangkok (Thái Lan). Chuyến lưu diễn cho đến nay bao gồm 27 buổi hòa nhạc tại 14 thành phố ở 9 quốc gia trên khắp Châu Á và Châu Đại Dương. Vào ngày 9 tháng 10 năm 2024, toàn bộ bốn bài hát solo của bốn thành viên được phát hành dưới dạng single trực tuyến có tên "SYNK: PARALLEL LINE - Special Digital Single".
