Anh khao khát một thời giản dị hơn nhưng thừa nhận rằng không thể quay lại. Anh khuyến khích người nghe buông bỏ sự cảnh giác và trân trọng cuộc sống và môi trường xung quanh mình trong khoảnh khắc hiện tại.

Anh chia sẻ với Apple Music vào năm 2021 về ca khúc: "Tôi nghĩ những năm 90 là thời kỳ hiện đại nhất, không bị Internet thống trị. Tôi nghĩ đã có một bầu không khí lạc quan mà có lẽ không còn hiện diện ở năm 2021 này nữa. Và tôi nghĩ lạc quan luôn quan trọng, nhưng tôi nghĩ đã có một niềm hy vọng, một tương lai tươi sáng vào những năm 90. Và tôi nghĩ chúng ta đang ở trong giai đoạn mà rất nhiều nhà khoa học đang lắc đầu ngao ngán".
