Trên nền nhạc pop lạ tai và có phần bí ẩn, ca khúc mang tên "Plot Twist" như nói lên được bản chất khó đoán của một mối quan hệ tình cảm. Bài hát nhấn mạnh vào sự yếu đuối và có phần phức tạp của cảm xúc con người, cùng với những bước ngoặt đầy bất ngờ trong tình yêu.

Là bài hát đánh dấu màn debut của nhóm nhạc nữ tân binh AtHeart, "Plot Twist" được "trình làng" cùng một MV chính thức vào ngày 13 tháng 8 năm 2025. Đây cũng là ca khúc chủ đề nằm trong EP đầu tay cùng tên của các cô nàng. Trước đó vào tháng 5 năm 2025, "Good Girl (AtHeart)" ra mắt với vai trò là single "mở đường" cho EP. Thành viên Aurora của nhóm hiện đang tạm dừng hoạt động và không tham gia lần quảng bá này vì lí do sức khoẻ.
