Thật bất ngờ khi có lẽ năm 2023 là một năm mà có rất nhiều nghệ sĩ cho ra mắt một lúc 2 album trong 1 năm. Từ Taylor Swift, Ed sheeran và giờ đến cả ban nhạc The National, trong đó có Aaron Dessner là người đã đồng hành với cả 3 và đã cho ra rất nhiều ca khúc trong năm nay. Có thể nói anh là một producer và song writer năng suất nhất năm nay. Và cũng vì thế mà ban nhạc của anh đã cho ra thêm 12 ca khúc mới toanh feature trong album phòng thu thứ 10 của mình mang tên "Laugh track". Như Aaron chia sẻ, đây là album phiên bản hoang dại hơn của "First two pages of Frankerstein". Và Laugh track cũng là ca khúc chủ đề cho album này.
