Khắc họa cuộc giằng xé nội tâm trong một mối quan hệ độc hại nhưng lại đầy mê hoặc, "Killshot" là bài nhạc với sự kết hợp của thể loại synth funk và nu disco vô cùng lôi cuốn. Bài hát tựa như một lời cầu xin chấm dứt đi những cảm xúc giày vò, thoát khỏi nỗi ám ảnh về bóng hình của người kia. Dù biết trước kết cục đau đớn nhưng vẫn con người ta vẫn cứ tái diễn sa ngã vào đó, từ đó tạo nên một vòng lặp luẩn quẩn mãi không có hồi kết.

Được "trình làng" vào ngày 30 tháng 10 năm 2019, "Killshot" là sản phẩm âm nhạc đến từ bộ đôi Magdalena Bay. Đây cũng là track nhạc thứ sáu nằm trong EP thứ tư của nhóm "A Little Rhythm and a Wicked Feeling", "lên kệ" vào ngày 13 tháng 3 năm 2020. Phiên bản chậm và hiệu ứng vang của bài hát cũng đã được phát hành vào ngày 5 tháng 1 năm 2021, sau khi được khán giả đón nhận một cách tích cực.
