Là ca khúc nằm vị trí thứ mười ba trong album solo phòng thu đầu tay "Alter Ego" của LISA (BLACKPINK), "Dream" đã được ra mắt chính thức trên các nền tảng nghe nhạc vào ngày 28 tháng 2 năm 2025. Đây cũng là bài hát đại diện cho bản ngã mang tên Sunni của cô nàng. Một MV phim ngắn dành cho bài hát đã được công chiếu trên Youtube vào ngày 14 tháng 8 năm 2025, với sự tham gia của nam diễn viên người Nhật Kentaro Sakaguchi.

"Dream" mang đến sự hòa trộn đầy nhẹ nhàng giữa dream pop và pop ballad, cùng phần ca từ nói lên mong muốn rằng mọi chuyện sẽ kết thúc khác đi - như một câu chuyện có kết thúc mở thay vì một điểm dừng đầy chua xót. Xuyên suốt bài hát là những cảm giác ngọt ngào xen lẫn đắng cay khi hồi tưởng về một mối đã qua, mắc kẹt trong những cảm xúc lấp lửng và phức tạp.
