Nữ nghệ sĩ Dua Lipa đã quay trở lại đường đua âm nhạc với một sản phẩm mới mang tên "Dance The Night", một track nhạc nằm trong album nhạc phim "Barbie: The Album" dành cho bộ phim "Barbie" của đạo diễn Greta Gerwig sẽ được công chiếu vào tháng 7 năm 2023. Đây là single mở đường đầu tiên của album nhạc phim, được phát hành vào ngày 26 tháng 5 năm 2023. Dua Lipa cũng sẽ có một vai diễn đầu tiên trong phim với nhân vật Mermaid Barbie.

Đây là một ca khúc thuộc thể loại dance pop cùng âm hưởng nhạc disco của cuối thập niên 70 - đầu thập niên 80 đầy sôi động và bắt tai, rất phù hợp với màu sắc của bộ phim. Ca khúc khẳng định tinh thần lạc quan, tự tin vào bản thân và cháy hết mình cùng với những điệu nhảy, tạo nên sự liên kết cũng như làm rút ngắn đi khoảng cách giữa con người với nhau.
