ADÉLA từng là một thí sinh tham gia chương trình sinh tồn "The Debut: Dream Academy", do HYBE (하이브) và Geffen Records phát động nhằm để tìm kiếm một nhóm nhạc nữ tài năng toàn cầu. Tuy vậy, cô đã dừng chân ở top 20 và bắt đầu sự nghiệp solo của mình. "HOMEWRECKED" chính là tựa đề cho single đầu tay của cô nàng, được ra mắt cùng với một lyric video chính thức vào ngày 13 tháng 9 năm 2024.

ADÉLA chia sẻ rằng cô viết nên "HOMEWRECKED" để kể về câu chuyện ngoại tình của cha mình, cùng với đó là việc mẹ cô đã phải đối mặt với sự phản bội ngay khi cô còn nhỏ. Trên nền nhạc dance pop đầy táo bạo và nổi loạn, bài hát chính là những cảm giác đau lòng khi bị phản bội trong tình yêu và mong muốn trả thù một người tồi tệ.
