Vào ngày 21 tháng 6 năm 2024, ca khúc chủ đề cho single album tiếng Nhật đầu tay cùng tên "Supernatural" của nhóm nhạc nữ NewJeans đã được phát hành. Được sản xuất bởi producer 250, "Supernatural" lấy sample từ ca khúc "Back of My Mind" - bài hát phát hành năm 2009 bởi nữ ca sĩ Nhật Bản Manami và nam nghệ sĩ người Mỹ Pharrell Williams. MV của ca khúc được chia làm hai phần, phần một được phát hành cùng ngày và phần còn lại được "xuất xưởng" vào ngày 4 tháng 7 năm 2024.

"Supernatural" thuộc thể loại new jack swing kết hợp dance pop đầy ấn tượng, xoay quanh chủ đề về những mối liên hệ sâu sắc giữa con người với nhau và bản chất đầy bí ẩn của tình yêu. Bài hát đã khắc họa nên khung cảnh thơ mộng về một cuộc tái hợp đầy định mệnh, giúp cho cả hai người có thêm một cơ hội thứ hai để bày tỏ cảm xúc của mình cho đối phương được biết rõ, để bản thân sẽ không thấy hối tiếc về sau vì đã làm vụt mất cơ hội.
