Sau sự rời đi và chấm dứt hợp đồng với JYP của thành viên Jinni vì lí do cá nhân, NMIXX đã quay trở lại thị trường âm nhạc với mini album "expérgo" . Ca khúc được phát hành trước đó là "Young, Dumb, Stupid" được phát hành vào 12 tháng 3 năm 2023. Gần một tuần sau thì đĩa đơn chủ đạo cho mini album mang tên "Love Me Like This" được phát hành cùng MV chính thức vào ngày 20 tháng 3 năm 2023.

"Love Me Like This" là một ca khúc uptempo pop pha trộn giữa pop R&B và hiphop sôi nổi với giọng hát đầy nội lực của các thành viên nhóm nhạc nữ nhà JYP Entertainment.
