Why Students Lack Interest in Study?

Parents always have a headache about why their children are getting worse and w orse. They become bored with learning and tend to play games or social networks. So we need to know the cause of this issue.

The subjective reason is the thinking of the students. They don't know what they want, what they need, and don't know the purpose of their study. They study because of family, they don't enjoy their majors. Many parents think that their children should become doctors while they have a love for painting. In addition, bad students always think that they are bad, stupid, useless, and never successful. All of this negative thinking makes children become lazy, don't want to change and try.

Another side, the objective reason is fear of learning. Certain schools and colleges lay down rigid coursework and extremely difficult syllabus. Imagine that you are sitting in a classroom and the teacher is teaching an alien language. It is so terrible! Dyslexia also might be negatively affecting the student`s mind. Survey says India has a 15% incidence of dyslexia among students. Therefore, students feel discouraged and even scared.

Another reason is distractions in the environment. Difficult conditions are trouble. As you know, now students have to study online in order to avoid being infected with Coronavirus. Poor students have no smartphone, laptop. Modern technology brings a lot of entertainment tools from smartphones to digital gaming. They spend much time chatting, watching TV, surfing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, playing games, no time, or less time for learning. Students tend to easily succumb to such distractions. They should discover why they procrastinate and limiting negative thoughts or attitudes. They also can self-study and study with friends.

It is essential that students do homework right after class, books, or sports instead of social networks and learn how to manage your time properly. Learning is the shortest way to success. Students should find out their motivations and try to have a good result.
