In my opinion, plastic should be banned. Although it is very convenient and flexible but it is harmful to the environment. As the research, plastic took very long time to be destroyed, for instant: Plastic bottles took 450-1000 years, straws took 100-500 years. And now almost plastic in the world are handling by burial and burning that very harmful to the environment and polluted our land, water and even the air. Global warming now is a problem that every country has to face. The temperature is getting hotter and hotter, the ice is melting more and more every second. If the ice melts, the sea level will climb, and soon, all the world will be drowned out. Mention the sea, we also have to take care for the sea animals. As the United Nation report, there are 300 million tons of plastic are discharged the to environment and 13 million tons are wasted into the ocean. Many seas creatures are died due to the plastic of human, some of them stuck in the plastic bag, some have their neck stuck in the bottle, or even some have eaten plastic, how horrible it is. For example, the tortoises have to ashore to lay eggs, but there are too many plastics on the beach so they can't. Many organizations now are organized to clean the beach and help them tortoise lay eggs also dive to collect rubbish and preserve rare species. Some of them reduce and recycle plastic too, not only reduce and recycle, their products after handling are very nice, useful and very attract costumer because of its origin and functions. Summary, we should banned plastic and lead everyone to using the products which is friendly to the environment. Like bamboo straws, canvas bags to shopping, use your own cup instead of disposable cup. By that solution, we will help the world become better and better everyday.
