TOPIC: GOVERNMENT SHOULD INVEST MORE MONEY IN SCIENCE EDUCATION RATHER THAN OTHER SUBJECT TO DEVELOP COUNTRY. DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE?

It is said that leaders of the nation should be put more money into science education instead of different subjects to progress the country. From my point of view, I disagree with this opinion for some reasons below.

On the one hand, those scientific developments are considered to be the basis of all economic. In this technology age, a person who wants to become succeeded must have scientific knowledge. It can understand why science is held in such high regard by society as all industrial revolutions have been the results of scientific breakthroughs. For example, the steam engine in the 17th century or inventions of the telephone, the computer.. have changed social life forever. So, the demand for human resources in scientific fields has always been increased. As a result, invest time and money into science education never out of date.

But in any way, economic development is to meet social needs.

Undeniable, scientific is significant. But on the other hand, it is wrong to consider that science has been the only source of progress. The corresponding about psychology and other non-science subjects are no less critical to economic improvements. Especially, people who do not suitable with science, number or logic can not be pressure to be into science. Moreover, artists such as actors, singers, and musicians are vital in creating entertainment values that can satiate society's needs for happiness, avoiding depressions and boredom. For a country to advance sustainably, the government cannot neglect the values of non-science fields.

In conclusion, both science and arts are essential behind a well-developed country. I think all subjects should be treated as equals in the plans of the government. Science and art are 2 major factors that combine with each other to progress the country and society.
