Halsey bất ngờ tung MV Nightmare: Vẫn sự ngông cuồng, bất cần và sẵn sàng đạp đổ mọi định kiến Halsey đã chính thức cho ra mắt MV Nightmare trong sự bất ngờ của người hâm mộ. Trong MV, Halsey xuất hiện với nhiều tạo hình khác nhau, khi thì hóa thân thành những người trẻ ngông cuồng ở những thập niên trước, khi thì nóng bỏng, táo bạo trong một thế giới hiện đại. Nhưng nhìn chung nhiều người ắt hẳn sẽ nhận ra thông điệp ngầm mà Halsey đã cài cắm vào trong MV đó chính là những định kiến của xã hội đối với con người dù là ở bất kỳ thời đại nào thì cũng rất kinh khủng như một cơn "Ác mộng". Đặc biệt là đối với một người nghệ sĩ có quá khứ bi kịch như Halsey, MV lần này dường như chính là cú đáp trả cho những kẻ đã từng muốn vùi dập cô. Bên cạnh đó, hình ảnh Halsey đập phá đồ đạc, tự do ca hát.. Cũng là một ẩn ý của cô nàng về việc đạp lên dư luận để sống đúng với bản thân của mình mặc kệ ngoài kia người ta có nhìn mình với ánh mắt như thế nào. Đặt biệt trong MV, khán giả đã vô cùng bất ngờ trước sự xuất hiện của siêu mẫu Cara Delevingne sau khoảng thời gian vắng bóng trên sàn runway.
