First of all, learning English provides students a wide range of information and knowledge. For instance, students can get information fast by accessing to the internet. In fact, most of the web pages on the Internet are in English. The Internet has a huge amount of information, some of which can only be accessed in English. Secondly, learning English helps students widen their knowledge about linguistics, cultures, people, tradition, etc. Moreover, Students who are good at English are considered to be smart by others. What is more, English language is means of communication, so learning English is a good way to communicate with foreign people, as well as make friends with different nationalities. Finally, learning English gives many job opportunities because anyone who knows English can be promoted in higher seat or even higher salary in their working. In short, learning English is really advantageous. 3. Write a paragraph about the disadvantages of computer games. Playing computer can have some disadvantages. First of all, playing computer games affects our health. Spending a long period of time in front of a computer screen can have negative effects on our eyes, make them short-sighted, our bones and skin. Secondly, playingcomputer games affects students' study. When students spend too much time playing computer games, they do not have time to do homework and review the lessons, so they could not get good results at school. Another drawback of computer games is that when people pay too much attention to online activities may become passive in real life because of their lacks of communication. Finally, playing computer games affect our personality, especially, Video games can have many disadvantages for children. For example, violent games make children more aggressive. Playing video games that have a lot of shooting and killing in them increases children's anger and brings out aggressive behaviour. In conclusion, playing computer games too much is bad for our health, study, social interaction and personality. 4. The first disadvantages of living in the big cities is the higher cost of living . Major cities always have a higher cost of living than the surrounding suburbs or in the countryside. Secondly, the pollution is also aserious issue. It is obvious that many people in urban areas are suffering from air pollution, water pollution, and noise pollution. As a result, the heath of people in these cities would be affected and they would be have many deadly diseases. Additionally, living in big cities seems to be more dangerous. It can be seen that the rates of dangerous crimes are getting higher and higher. There is always more crime in a big city, and people are much more likely to be a victim of a crime living in a big city than in a small town.
