Some people believe that people who read books will have better imagination and language abilities than those who watch TV. I completely agree with this statement.

I think that reading books can provide us with several benefits. First, we could enhance our imaginative thinking skills efficiently. There are no images in the books, so readers have to use their imagination to visualize and think about the characters and plot of the story. As a result, our imagination will be levelled up quickly. Second, our language skills might be improved after reading numerous books. By reading books, we will have a chance to access the words directly; therefore, we could expand our vocabulary and learn different grammatical structures in an easier and more efficient way.

In addition, I believe that the advantages of book reading in improving our language capabilities and imagination power are better than watching TV. The language which is being used on television has been simplified to be suitable for all kinds of viewers.

After all, our imaginative thinking and linguistic skills will be developed through reading books better than watching television.
