Kể từ khi ca khúc "Faded" được ra mắt, Alan Walker - tài năng 18 tuổi người Na Uy đã được toàn thế giới biết đến và gây sốt với những ai yêu thích EDM nhạc điện tử. Bản EDM này đã thu hút sự chú ý sau khi phát hành lại qua hãng thu âm NoCopyrightSounds vào ngày 19 tháng 11. Faded đã thực sự cuốn hút người nghe với những giai điệu đặc biệt của nó với sự kết hợp cùng giọng ca ngọt ngào của nữ ca sỹ Iselin Solheim. Anh cho biết việc sáng tác ca khúc này được lấy cảm hứng từ K-391 và Ahrix, những người cũng phát hành nhạc qua hãng thu âm này. Bài hát này nhanh chóng được những DJ hàng đầu thế giới như Tiësto, Hardwell, Dash Berlin.. yêu thích và "xào nấu" lại để cho ra mắt nhiều phiên bảnremix khác nhau.
