Câu cảm thán trong Tiếng Anh I. Cấu trúc: 1. What (a/an) + adj + N! Eg: What an intelligent girl! 2. How + adj + S+V! /the N+V! Eg: How delicious it is! How delicious the cake is! 3. What a/an + adj + N + S + V! : Khen chê ai đó làm gì. Eg: What a perfect picture he draws! II. Lưu ý: - Ở dạng 2 của câu cảm thán chia làm hai trường hợp. Sau đây là cách sử dụng 2 trường hợp này sao cho hợp lý. Ta có ví dụ sau: They are difficult questions! => How diffcult they are! => How difficult the questinons are! Về mặt ngữ pháp, cả hai câu đều đúng. Nhưng về mặt ngữ nghĩa, câu thứ nhất lại sai vì câu này không nói rõ là cái gì khó (dfficult), còn câu thứ hai thì rõ ràng hơn nên trong trường hợp chủ ngữ là ' they, it..' thì ta nên đặt câu với trường hợp thứ hai. Ví dụ 2: That girl is very beautiful. => How beautiful the girl is! Trong trường hợp này, danh từ 'girl' là chủ ngữ nhưng ta lại không đặt câu với trường hợp 1 vì: Nếu là trường hợp 1, câu sẽ là: ' How beautiful that girl is' và như thế là sai nên: Khi chủ ngữ là ' that, this, those, these' + N thì ta sẽ bỏ ' that, this..' đi và thay vào đó là từ ' the' giống như trường hợp 2.
