The world is struggling with COVID-19 which affects many nations' economies and people's life. However, there were numerous significant and worthwhile actions during the dangerous pandemic. In my opinion, the best action was the free rice ATM in Vietnam.

Rice ATM is a word to describe an automatic machine that gives away the rice for people who are out of work in Vietnam. Unemployed people, elderly people, or homeless people could come there to take the free supplement. Each citizen was allowed to take away up to 5 kilograms of rice which could help them to have enough meals for about a month. In addition, each of them was given some masks and hand sanitisers before taking the rice. The idea of the ATM was invented by many kinds and helpful businessmen and donors to give a hand in supporting the disadvantaged of Vietnam. The rice ATM is located in several cities and provinces in Vietnam to help as many people as possible. In Hanoi, the ATM will be used from 8 AM to 5 PM each day, pouring out the rice for citizens. This was a really pithy action for every Vietnamese people. Having free rice could feed them during the corona crisis, preventing them from starving, and the most important was to raise the spirit of the Vietnamese in the frightening pandemic. I believe that this action had a great impact on the whole society in such a threatening widespread disease.
